More tests

Thursday, September 19, 2013

well I went to my back neurosurgeon and had to get an MRI and a nerve conduction test and then I went to my family doctor 2 days ago and I have a UTI and tendonitis in my shoulder I can barely move it. My thyroid was way out of wack so I had to change my dose of that. Why do I have to have 4 or 5 problems at once. I am possible looking at my 4th back surgery. Its just all a bit overwhelming today. I am doing good with my food choices I just lost 4 more pounds and I am at 213. 200 is starting to look mighty good. I can't wait to get there it will be so nice to be under 200 again. I can't wait. I have 8 pairs of jeans in the next size down and I can't wait to get in them- I will be so proud. My daughter had her first sonogram of my new grandchild and everything is A-OK-Yeah.The weather is cool and dreary today maybe that is why I am a little down. I get that SAD-Seasonal affect disorder ever fall and winter cuz there's not a lot of sun! I hope that's not starting this early this year. I guess I just don't really feel that great everything hurts!! I am sorry to be complaining but I just had to get it out a little.I feel better after writing this- at least I don't have any more tests. I go back to the doctor on October 1st he still wants to discuss some more lab tests-I hope nothing else is wrong!!I am going to try and think positively. Well I am done moaning and groaning now. I'll get better soon I am sure. Love you all my friends-God bless you all-LuAnn

Sorry to hear your troubles. It does help to get them out and then just move on. Hope you get to feeling better. Fall is my favorite time of the year and hopefully it's coming soon. Had snow in the middle of the state yesterday but so far our leaves haven't even begun to turn. My thyroid is out of whack again also. Losing weight makes a difference, so does stress and change of diet. I always feel better when it's working right! You'll be in our thoughts and prayers!

Wow! That's a lot to deal with. I pray for God's healing with your back, your shoulder, your thyroid and your UTI. Just typing all that make my heart hurt for you.

Nobody enjoys the snowball roll. It does seem like when one things is weighing you down, sometimes the scales just feel like their gonna tip over when they keep getting piled on. It's hard to wrap our mind around it all sometimes. Hopefully you will get answers and have ways to deal with what ails you, and you will start to feel more "in control" of the situation again. It does sound like there is some light in the darkness. Keep pushing and praying.

Congrats on your weight loss. You are on your way. I understand the mood issues at this time of year. I've heard good things about the SAD lights.

I hope you feel better very soon!

My husband has been having the same problems with his feelings since the weather is changing. Ha! I guess we are just so in love with the warm weather, but still love were we live than to move farther south.

I can empathize with back pain. Been there and done the surgery act. It helped but the arthritis still wants to rear its ugly head.

I heard a preacher say on tv yesterday that man is given
70 years according to the Bible (unsure of that verse?) and then after that it is all patch work. Ha!
That is the way I feel sometimes, but I have not reached that age yet. Hope to someday.

Don't give up! Maybe God will give you the healing that you are seeking through the medical doctors.

emoticon to you for having to endure so much at once.
I don't blame you for wanting to get it off your chest.

Tendonitis can be so painful, and everything we do we use our arms & shoulders. I hope it clears up soon.

have you ever tried those special lights for SAD? my mom bought one to try this year. actually she got it last year, but, then she left it at my house and didn't get to try it. emoticon

anyway, you sit under a special light for an hour or so a day, while your watching tv or reading or WHO and it's supposed to help with the winter blues.

I'm so sorry - there's nothing as painful as back and shoulder problems - I've had two frozen shoulders and it's the pits. You should be celebrating your weight loss - and won't it be fun to get into those smaller clothes! Meanwhile, let's pray that you start the healing process as you get medical care!

Hugs!
