I've done really well by using the Nutrition Tracker on this site. I feel like I'm in control and I know I've got plenty of nutritious food at hand.
Today - its been so stressful at work. So much going on, and I have a desk full of work to do. I'm feeling that old feeling - wanting to eat, and eat, and eat because I'm stressed and anxious.
I've got lots of fruit here, and broccoli, and plain soups in little boxes if I get REALLY hungry (or have to work late!). I guess if I eat all this fruit (instead of candy or chips) the only thing it will affect is my "regularity" instead of my weight. I think its good that I recognize this feeling for what it is - stress - but I know I need to work on not letting the stress get to me in the first place.
What do you all do to manage stress eating?
