I made 1/4 c Chia seeds mixed with 1 c almond milk & 1 tsp vanilla last night. This morning, I took 1/3 of that mixture, added a little more almond milk, cocoa and cinnamon. Mixed well. Nuked. And then added a sliced banana, Yummy.


friday evening: OK my chia seeds are now soaking! emoticon

    I will have to try this I don't think I have any left I was comparing prices they are very expensive up here not sure about in the states. I do have a breakfast cereal with it in it and it says to soak for 5 minutes I will do that and soak it overnight and see what it is like in the morning. Thanks Chris for so many great food ideas.

    I love the texture of chia seeds. When I was little a treat was tapioca pudding. That's what they remind me off.

    I love soaked chia seeds in soy milk and a dash of vanilla. The consistency the next day is amazing! Overnight I put the bowl just under the freezer section and it kind o solidifies the top layer. It is then a delicious cold dessert-type pudding. Yummy.
