Now to make it a home

Thursday, September 19, 2013

Well my family has left after they drove out here to help me move! Awesome support system. Well while they were here. It was super stressful. We lived off of takeout cause things hadn't been unpacked or they were still at the apartment etc. I'm slowly getting into a new routine that involved packing my lunch eating my oatmeal going to bed on time, and I'm feeling better.

The walls are painted and the the boxes are almost all unpacked. I have pictures that need to be hung and some cleaning to do.

Here's my Action plan:
1) Every night do 5 small things (eg unpack one box, hang up the pictures in one room, vacuum, etc)
2) continue getting back on track with menu planning. My boyfriend and I cooked Tuesday and Wednesday and I packed a lunch every day this week
3) make a chore chart to keep my new life/home organized.
4) Start Journaling
5) Enjoy this step in my new life and be kind to myself when I make mistakes along the way and celebrate the memories i make along the way.

Other fun things going on in my life. The countdown is on To Disney World! I'm having fun wiht fantasy football with the girls at the office. The fall is coming and I love autumn. My family is coming back out for Halloween and it's going to be so much fun!

Remember what is important in life. I moved last December and still have boxes I haven't unpacked. I guess it's stuff I don't really need so maybe I'll just throw the boxes away and save the work!

Make Today the Greatest Day of Your Life
