Terrific Thursday

Thursday, September 19, 2013

Well I made it over a hurdle. Got my resume and cover letter tweeked and sent in my resume for a posted job. We'll see where it takes me. It may never amount to anything but at least I am taking steps forwards and not sitting back and just complaining. Felt like a lighter load on my shoulders yesterday evening. Something is driving me to move forward.

Co-worker had an emotional day yesterday and I had second thoughts...maybe I'm supposed to be there for her...and then I reminded myself...although I'm a compassionate person maybe that is draining me too.

Thought I should take positive steps at work to clean up things IF I should get the opportunity to move to another job.

Off to make positive steps forward...

IT IS ABOUT YOU!!! Your co-worker may actually be better off without you there. Why do you ask? Well.....if she's bringing you down and you leave then she will learn to excel on her own and not use you as a guinea pig, (so to speak). You, as I remember in the past, have taken a lot of additional duties on because of her and another co-worker before her...You can't be the doormat forever. I'm glad to see you are making such positive strides for new employment. Although they grass may not always be greener on the other side you won't know unless you try and it may just be exactly where God wants you to be. emoticon Donna
