I honestly don't know why this time has been/is different.
There has been no major life epiphany.
But I am finding it easier. Its been 16 days now since I started logging in, spinning the wheel and tracking my food and exercise. I'm not always staying in my calorie range for the day, but I'm definitely doing a lot better than every before. And even better, I'm thinking about my food choices. Most importantly I'm thinking about them instead of just blindly going into the kitchen and eating stuff.
And the scale is already starting to show it. I know based on past history, and with the choices I've been making in the last 16 days, that prior to that, I was probably routinely consuming more than 2800 calories. So its really no surprise that even if I'm not in my range, I'm seeing a difference.
Of course my run/Zumba event this past week helped in jump starting things as well.
I do need to increase my Zumba and other workouts, but I am focused on making sure I don't try to take on too much at once. Adding Zumba in when I can (meaning when I'm not working) is pretty easy, since I do enjoy the class. Doing other things when I can't do Zumba is the harder part.
And I really need to increase my water intake. I know that will also really help.
Keep it going!
