I just got home from a golf invitational. I placed last but was still under 100 for the day. I was expecting to be over 100 but being under really made my day.
What was not expected was to come home and log my four hours on the golf course. It didn't seem right...4 hours on the course came to 1700 calories burned. Maybe a 3rd of that, but that seemed high. But it is still in the right direction. And my body is saying I did more than sit at a desk all day today.
It was a nice break from the daily monotony of a working stiff kind of week. One of the cool things were the prizes. The Pacers are my home team and I now own an autographed photo from the entire team from this past winning season. I would have preferred the autographed basketball by Larry Bird, but that's a whole other story. LOL!
The nice thing is that I'm seeing a difference in my healthy choices this past week. So far, I'm 2 lbs down from where I was just this past weekend. And I know I could possibly eek out another pound if I'm really good between now and Saturday when the final 8 week challenge weigh in occurs.
This challenge has definitely had it's ups and downs. I know I'll see ONEderland again real soon. I made it there this challenge, who says I can't in the next challenge. Number one goal is to STAY below 200.
