My trip to the dentist today was actually enjoyable. Well, the dental work itself wasn't but, the dentist is so nice and polite. She stopped often to ask if I was okay or needed anything. She shared her story about her miscarriages and having no living children. She also managed to make me giggle and smile through most of the work. So despite the excessive amount of drilling and cavity fixing I needed she treated me great! She also understands that my insurance runs out soon and did as much work now as she could and got me back in promptly Oct. 1st to finish the rest.

I picked up some batteries for the stationary bike while I was out. I am going to watch me some Dr. Oz and attempt to get in an hour. Yes, I know Dr. Oz is full of endorsement deals and propaganda but, don't judge...sometimes I just like him. While I don't feel much like working out..."I had a couple fillings this morning" is not a valid excuse to me so even if it's slow and grudgingly the workout must be done!

Today I am grateful for:

Genuinely caring medical professionals. My husband and I have been blessed to have found some great ones in our local area.

The kid at Subway today who only charged me $5 for technically two 6 inch subs.

Slow cookers. Greatest invention ever...while I was getting my teeth fixed it was making me a sore mouth friendly vegetarian chili.

Today's goal:

Attempt to share the kindness I was given today with someone else.

I am fortunate that all my medical professionals are genuinely least they seem to be! Good that you're having the dental work done and soon enough so that your insurance covers it.

It's so nice to find a healthcare professional that seems concerned about the patient. Sounds like you got super lucky and found a great one! At least the dental work was as good as dental work can be.
