I have my good nights and my bad nights sleeping. Seems the moon phases have something to do with it as well as weather changes. During weather changes I get so achy anyway. Had a long talk with my RA doctor about the sleepless nights and she suggested taking 2 benedryl and melatonin. The tramadol I take for pain also helps. It doesn't help when primary doctor put me on allegra D...the decongestant in it wires me. I'm a light sleeper anyway..so only taking the allergra D during the day. Tried the 2 benedryl the last 2 nights and have sleept so well even with the full moon rising and weather changing. Sometimes I just need a little help. Since I can't take much for my arthritis pain then getting a good night's sleep is something I really try to aim for. I've begun drinking a cup of camomille tea with milk and honey...hot bath...reading a little in bed and sleeping with a sleep mask. It really makes a difference how my day goes if I get a good night's rest.
