This is my birthday, so I took the time to update my page. I had to add a couple of pounds to my weight tracker to catch it up to where I am right now. The tracker shows I gained a couple of pounds, but it also reflects that I have lost nine pounds and kept it off this past year. I now have a mini goal for myself and that is to be down at 130 by Christmas. It is not where I want to be, but reality has shown me that I lose very slowly or not at all. In fact, I am lucky not to gain weight as my healthy eating habits don't allow for any extra calories. At 5 feet tall, I can only eat 1200 calories and that is to maintain. If I try to lose weight I need to eat less than that and my doctor said I am not to go under 900 calories. Well, just eating healthy uses up those calories pretty quickly!
Thank you to all of my Spark Friends for another year of support and encouragement. I think it has really kept me focused on the long term goal of good health and the life style changes necessary to achieve that goal.
