Starting The Plan tomorrow and I strongly recommend preparing the day before. I went grocery shopping today, really just for the 1st three days and got a bunch of stuff. I went over the food I will be eating tomorrow and there are a lot of recipes to make. I would not want to have to get up and make a bunch of stuff to eat the same day, maybe while hungry and not happy :)
The cereal really should be made at least 2 days in advance if you want it ready for the 1st morning. The flax-seeds need to soak over night and then you need to bake them about an hour. Today I got my flax cereal ready to go, and it actually tastes pretty good, with blueberries and coconut dream milk I think it will be pretty tasty. I made a double batch because you eat it pretty much every morning for the 1st week or so.
I also made the carrot soup which you eat on day 1 and other days as well. I got 6 small servings with that recipe and have it in containers ready to go. It's ok but found it a little bland. Should probably make a double batch of that as well because it suppose to be really good for soothing your digestive system and you can add it to meals if you need to.
I also made the Spicy Coco Sauce, although not spicy for me :) I made a double batch of this as well because you need a cup of it for a soup recipe on day 3 plus you can use it on most foods.
Finally I made the citrus olive oil for broccoli and to use as salad dressing. I still need to make a kale dish, cook broccoli, and make a beet & carrot salad, all to eat tomorrow, which I will make tomorrow. Be prepared for a lot of chopping and preparing. I'm glad I got started today now because tomorrow doesn't seem as daunting.
In addition, I used green onions in all the recipes that called for onions because onion seems to be an IBS trigger for me so I don't want to start off on the wrong foot.
