Hi everyone, it has been so long since since I've "Sparked", six months to be exact. I finally landed a job which means two things:
1) I'm sedentary all day. As much as I try to get up and move as much as possible, I'm basically at a desk all day.
2) I mindlessly snack all day. I would constantly reach for things like nuts or chips or crackers. Combine this with being sedentary and you've got a recipe for disaster, which is exactly what happened. In six months I packed on about seven pounds.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) I was recently laid off so I am getting myself back on track. I'm getting back into my old exercise routine, and definitely eating better which feels great! I'll be doing my weekly weigh-ins and posting the results, making me accountable for everything I put in my mouth. That's really the only way I can manage to stay on track. It's a tough road, but we can all get there one step at a time!
