I think I have walked more it he past couple days than I have in a day total in a year or more. And it feels great to know I have done it , however the knee is very much not happy.
Hubby and I went to the Pirates baseball game at PNC park on Monday, .. we parked 3 blocks from the stadium and got there a few hours early so we could just have some time for just us. We walked the three blocks to the Park, walked the whole way around it . the walked back and forth on the Robert Clemente Bridge, then we sat for a little while ad then walked up 5 or 6 flights of steps to our nosebleed seats. I kept pushing even though there were elevators. And I felt so happy that I did it.
On Monday as sore as I was , I had two photo shoots for Senior pictures, they were fun , I was walking and up and down on my knees, my knee is not happy but again , I kept moving.
I have the 2nd 4 hour class for my diabetic stuff tonight , and then tomorrow finally I will see the Doctor for my knee and leg... I am hoping there is something for pain relief that I can do.

I also have a bad knee - Doctor gave me a steroid shot and while not a miracle cure it did make a big difference...took a few days but it worked. You might ask your doctor.

    congrats on all the exercise!!!!

It is no fun having a sore knee, I had a total knee replacement on 1 knee in 1995 and am having it done again for the same reason as they only last a few years.

Hopefully your knee can heal up or at least have the pain managed... Kudos to you for pushing on and doing all that walking and the stairs! Great job!

I feel your pain! I have bad knees, too. What I try to keep in mind (as I suffer through the pain, like you must be as well) is that they say that for every pound lost, it's like 4 pounds less pressure on your knees. So I figure I have to move to get that pound off. As far as a little help . . . I find taking two Advil at night relieves discomfort (must take at night, though--somehow it metabolizes better during sleep). Hope you find this helpful or encouraging. Good luck!
