Can I tell you how nice it is, not to have to go to work for a week?? Boy, did I need this time off. I know I couldn't be a stay-at-home mom indefinitely, I'd get bored, but for a week it's pretty awesome. Every afternoon I walk Bam-Bam over to pick up Kate at school - great socialization for her, the kids all love her. Technically dogs aren't allowed on campus, but nobody squawks if I have her out front. :-)
Anyhow, a much more productive day yesterday. Got some work done organizing the iphoto library, did some more Girl Scout work (researching the "bridging" ceremony, where they'll bridge from Brownies to Juniors), totally cleaned my scrap area, which was horrendously dusty - did the windows, vaccumed, dusted, you name it. Looks awesome now! Of course, now I want the whole house to look like that...but I don't want to do the work to get there, hee hee hee.
This morning, if I ever get in the shower and get moving, I'm planning to run some errands, and then I may just crash out till it's time to go get Kate, since I am supposed to get some down time out of this week too! Actually, I also want to do some scrapbooking in my nice clean area!
As for exercise, I'm afraid I rolled over and went back to sleep after the alarm went off. That's probably partly why I'm having trouble getting moving today, always harder when I don't start off with exercise! But I'll get a little this afternoon, walking to school and back (it's a 10-15 min walk).
All right, better get moving!
