It's So Easy to Get Out of Habits

I started a couple classes. It dawned on me last night that I have homework to do and get it done soon. I have gotten out of the habit of doing a little bit each day. And I know better - so it's time to get on the ball on this one.

I'm staying with my great-niece and great-nephew and the cat and the year-old puppy for a few days. My memories of having a puppy had faded. I have been reminded. I have made mental and written notes to stick with cats from now on.

When my girls were little, I quickly realized that things like housework and such were easier to do a little bit each day. Life is not consistent when dealing with children. Got reminded of that again, too.

These experiences have reinforced the things I have learned on SP. Eat right every day. Move every day. Take care of my whole well-being every day. Note to self...

    So, is a change as good as a rest?

And what's wrong with puppies? Well, guess Buddy is now 9 mo. old and we have gotten out of most of that playful stage where they get themselves in trouble....I hope!!

So, what classes are you taking? Where? How long are you staying at niece and nephews? Enjoy!!!

    You gots a good attitude going, lady! A little at a time amounts to a big pile of good things. Hang on to that attitude tightly, it's easy for it to slip away!

    I so much LOVE this blog especially because you reinforced your idea with excellent, everyday examples. emoticon I started a paid course today online and I was thinking to myself, "You have two days to finish 5 chapters plus assignments so schedule it out a little at the time to finish it" and here is your blog!! emoticon ESP Friendship!! emoticon Good luck with your classes too. I feel like I am back in college and I like it. emoticon

  My life has really changed now that I intend/and make efforts toward being a turtle (I used to, quite naturally, seem to be a rabbit). Slow but steady, a little bit daily, as your wonderful blog post reminds us, makes progress. Thanks for posting! Ps. Haha. Cats rule~* emoticon
