So for the past couple days, I have been trying to be conscientious about my food choices and apparently it's been paying off. I must definitely have been bloated last week because it's dropping right back off again this week. Much too fast for me to actually believe I'm losing any fat or anything, but at least I feel better. I have plans to go out Thursday and Friday this week, but I'm hoping that won't throw me off too much. On Thursday, my grandparents are coming to visit. I've been very candid with my grandmother about my weight loss and she is very supportive, so hopefully we'll find some healthy options. On Friday, I am going out with friends and then going on a date later in the evening, so that will be a bit of a splurge day, but I'm hoping to keep things under control a little bit by splitting with my friends. Hopefully before too long, I'll be out of the 170s again.

    Sounds like lots of fun coming up at the end of the week so I would try super hard before then to keep up great choices because you never know what's going to happen while out. However, you do have control over what you put in your body, and remember to get some fitness in at least 1 of the 2 days you have outings. You'll feel better.

Also, if you do go over what you anticipated, don't beat yourself up about it!

    Just that you are planning ahead will help things go smoother! Do you know where you'll be-maybe you can check their online menu ahead of time? Enjoy your week! Sounds like you are making it a great one!

I feel you on the tennis shoes! I go to Fleet Feet, a running specialty store & they have this great fitting system so I always leave happy & they do all the work, except the paying for them! emoticon
