MERCY DROPS

There is an old hymn written by James McGranahan called “There Shall Be Showers Of Blessing” where mercy drops round us are falling. There is a promise of love, refreshed seasons and mercy all from our Savior above. When we feel like we can’t go on or we feel like our back is against the wall due to something we have done or someone else has done, we can go to God. He will allow mercy drops to fall around us so we are able to stand strong even in the tough times.

Psalm 119:156 “LORD, how great is your mercy; let me be revived by following your regulations.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know we don’t deserve the good You give us. We do wrong things which cause bad circumstances. We get involved in things we shouldn’t. we follow the wrong crowd. We give in to the things of the world. But You, in Your infinite mercy, forgive us. You are more than we can comprehend. You are more than we can understand. You are more than we will ever need and we thank You for giving us direction, focus and mercy. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God will give us all we need no matter what we are going through.

When we feel like we can’t go on, God can help.

No matter what we have done that has led us to the place we are today, God is ready to bring us back to Him.

Because of God’s mercy, we can have a second chance.

When we are in desperate situations, we can count on God.

1 Chronicles 21:13 “’I’m in a desperate situation!’ David replied to Gad. ‘But let me fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is very great. Do not let me fall into human hands.’” (NLT)
