Not as aggravating as I expected...

Tuesday, September 17, 2013

So, the day wasn't quite as aggravating as I anticipated. The woman from FS didn't call this morning, but I will wait until noon tomorrow to try and call her. I never get her on the phone and I usually have to call her at least three times before she will call me back, but I expect this now, so no biggie. Mom's appointment at the wound clinic was for 1:40 this afternoon and she didn't get seen until after 2:30, but I had a book along, so I was happy enough. After she was done we went to one grocery store and two farm stands. I finally located the chia seeds at the grocery store which was nice, now I can make chia pudding again. And mom bought me pickled herring at the second farm stand, so I was pretty happy about that. Got home and walked Cooper, then made roasted vegetables to go with the dolmades I bought at the grocery store. So dinner was lovely. Oh, and I found fresh parsnips at the first farm stand. I have been craving parsnips lately, but I haven't seen them anywhere until today. Mom gave me her stick blender to use instead of my good blender that I lent to her 3 years ago. That is fine with me, since I would mostly use it for making smoothies.

I heard a rumor tonight that building management of the apartment building I live in is going to start requiring all dogs in the building to wear a muzzle. If that is true then Cooper is going to be one unhappy dog. (I would take it off the minute we got outside, but still...)

I hope for Cooper's sake that is an incorrect rumour!

I hope the building manager doesn't end up requiring the muzzle. That will not be fun for you or Cooper.

I hope they don't make cooper wear one. That's horrible!
Just 2 says away! Keep up the great work! emoticon

I hope poor Cooper doesn't have to wear a muzzle! How inhumane of your management office if they do that! I would make sure they can legally do that if they try, doesn't sound right to me!

I hope things look up for you soon!

Wow - full day. Enjoy your farmstand finds.

I hope they leave the dog alone.

Perhaps that rumor is incorrect. I know where I live that it is impossible for a landlord to require that without a bylaw in place. It sounds like perhaps someone misunderstood or took something out of context. I hope so for Cooper's sake. Have a nice day today.

sounds like the muzzle might be better put to use on some of the complainers in the building- the move to the farm looks better everyday if that bylaw goes into effect. How are the renos coming along?

Yeah... that muzzle rule sounds silly. How will they know what you are doing inside your apartment and I don't think they can dictate what you do in your apartment. (Peaceful enjoyment and all that.) Maybe the hallway and then the muzzle comes off.

Sounds like a good day. What good will a muzzle do if the dog is inside and in your apartment? Any chewing damage would be covered by your damage deposit I would think.
