I broke down and went to the Chinese Buffet this afternoon. I have an adult handicapped daughter who loves Chinese food. She's been saying to me "Just because you're on a diet doesn't mean I have to give up Chinese food". OK. My husband is out to a meeting this evening so I decided today would be a good time. I skipped lunch ( I know, I know) and went about 4 pm so it was a late lunch/ early dinner. I've tracked as close as possible what I ate and I'm still within my goals. Steamed Rice, Sliced chicken breast with broccoli, steamed shrimp, sauteed mushrooms (no way to figure out what's in the sauces though). Spread over two meals I guess it wasn't too bad BUT I don't like this overfull feeling anymore. I feel sluggish and bloated and sleepy. I'm not liking this.
