I shall call today second Monday. It was just a busy, busy day...

I started my day off right by getting on my Gazelle with an hour long playlist and making it 30 minutes into it before getting a phone call that we were about to have guests. I've been a little off my usual routine with recent events and this house was so not fit for guests. So, that phone call spurred an emergency cleaning/stashing things in cupboards because it looks tidier hidden and vacuuming spree. I managed to take 2 weeks worth of unkempt mess and make it look great in 30 minutes...I'm pretty sure that was a better workout than my workout.

I had to go to WIC to re-certify for their 6 month follow up program. Which is a huge help! Milk is flipping expensive so...three cheers for free milk! Anyhow...after WIC it was onward to Wal-Mart and then to get vegetables...and vegetables I did get.

Too many vegetables actually because I can't stash everything in my tiny fridge so that led to am impromptu fridge cleaning and re-organizing session. Which then lead to an impromptu deep cleaning session because I found an unidentifiable puddle of red goo in the back corner of one of the upper shelves that I can't see so well. Finally after an hour, a full trash bag, and dishpan hands I stashed all the fresh items away.

Dinner was great. I made salad with everything I could think to put on it veggie wise and topped with a hard boiled egg and some chickpeas for protein. Now the goal is to get in the rest of my exercise, watch some TV and snuggle with the poor sick hubby, who managed to end up with pneumonia in the middle of summer.

Today I am grateful for:

Learning how to reach my goals and still keep my vegetarianism. I am getting the hang of getting the correct amount of protein every day without needing any supplements or processed junk to fill in the slack.

Trust and communication. I love that fact that I can talk to my husband even about "silly" things. Our dinner conversations are never boring...tonight's conversation was about the fact I bought an even smaller bra today than the last one I bought and I'm positive my tattoo will migrate if they shrink much more.

Snuggles...I am going to get my rear in gear and finish up my workout so I can get my snuggle on. Poor sick baby, he needs extra love right now.
