And Here We Go Again

Well last week was a big pile of crap. I didn't do any running in the morning like I said I was going to. I didn't take Zoey to the park at all. Food was terrible and according the to scale this morning I gained back everything I had lost in the prior week.

Now I'm not blogging this because I am feeling frustrated or beating myself up, although I am a little bit. I am more blogging it to just hold myself accountable. If I don't put my successes and failures out into this world then I don't think I can or will change what I need to.

Now this week is having a little bit of a better start. I got up Monday morning and went for a walk/run and Zoey and I walked to the park today. Food has not been great. I think I ate four cookies today. I need to get back to tracking and planning my meals. That is a huge key to me being successful. Plan and track, plan and track.

    Four cookies isn't awful IF you eat well the rest of the day and make it fit into your calorie/nutrient range. But if you're not tracking, you don't know how it fits.

    With all that said, like your last blog post title says, the past is in the past. Tomorrow is another day. And tomorrow you'll make awesome decisions for your health!

    Get the junk food out of the house. Start feeding you and your daughter healthier snacks. If you can't get outside, just put some music on and dance around the living room together. I do agree that journaling is a big key to staying on track. I didn't have such a great week either. I let the weather dictate my moods, or exercising. Tomorrow's another day. We'll both start fresh. Good luck. Two steps forward, one step backwards.
