Well, I'm not feeling spectacular this week... the ear congestion will not let up. Pseudaphed helps a little and makes it bearable, but it's still there... and annoying! I'm drinking tons of hot tea and sucking on Vitamin C drops (sugar free). That, along with the cold, is keeping my appetite at bay, which I can live with
Got up and did my 45min on the treadmill again today. I've found that doing run/walk intervals really helps the time to go by quickly, so even though I was exhausted, I ran 1 min/walked 1 min for 30 minutes (plus warm up and cool down =45) today. This is the best/most I have done since I started back to working out and it felt good.
DH gets home late tomorrow night - I am SO excited to have him home again
I'm planning finish reading The Skinny Rules by Friday, and get myself a menu made up for the next week - and get a shopping list prepped for the weekend.
I get to start back to the gym on Friday with my Workout Buddy
. We have both been able to keep up working out 6 days a week - but we text each other all the time to try to keep the other one going. I think I'm going to have to really join the gym (year contract)... since my 1month will be up at the end of Sept. Of course, with DH and my travel next month, I'll only have maybe 2 weeks I'll be able to use it in Oct.
Anyway, one week and one day at time - no need to worry about October before it IS October!
I have my lunch/snacks packed for today and the scale inched downward again this morning
