First of all...my thoughts and Prayers go out to all those that are impacted by the shooting in Washington DC. It's sad to think how often this tragedy is being repeated in our nation. We need to come together to take back our country from those that would do us harm.
Now...the weekend...it didn't turn out as we had planned. We had planned to work on the race trailer, but instead end up doing some house repairs. Hubby went to change the faucet in our bathroom sink and we found that it had been leaking (more of a slow drip kind of thing) for a long time. So long that the wood behind the dry wall was rotting away and we had black mold growing on the wall and under the base board on that wall
. Not a pleasant thing to find. So off we went to Home Depot for some mold killing stuff and some Killz to seal it up. I scrubbed everything in the bathroom (thank goodness it's not a huge bathroom!), moldy walls and everything else, then Sunday, sprayed the places that had the mold with the Killz to seal it up. We'd closed the bathroom door and let everything dry out over night. So Sunday morning, hubby finished installing the new faucet in there. But that was all we got done for the weekend.
Hubby then took a nap Sunday afternoon, which concerned me, he may doze off on the couch or in his chair...but he NEVER gets up and goes to lay down on the bed. I was worried something was wrong with him. He napped for about 45 mins then got up. So of course he had trouble sleeping last night. He'll be really tried tonight and may go to bed even earlier then normal (which for him is like 7:45).
The other bad thing this weekend? I ate like there was no tomorrow! I just seemed to be hungry all the time. I didn't weigh in this morning, I will tomorrow, but I'm afraid the scale isn't going to be my friend tomorrow morning. Now to climb back up on that wagon and move forward!
I only got a 45 min workout in today. I got a late start on my work out and co-worker went down to the gym with me, but she had forgotten her card key at home (we need them to move between areas and get into the building here). So we came back up together. Plus I don't think my HRM is right. I put new batteries in it this weekend (both the watch part and the chest strap part) and then had to redo the setup. I don't think I did it right. I'll keep an eye on the readings. I'd like to get a newer Polar to replace it with. Something like the one I use at home.
I'm off to get some stuff done. Have a nice night where ever you are!
