Eating and stress

Monday, September 16, 2013

Well one thing that recent weeks has shown me is very clearly is that my first response when dealing with stress relating to situations I feel powerless to prevent from impacting on my family - is to put food into my mouth randomly.
Now I just have to sit on my hands around food while I am stressing - problem solved - maybe!

emoticon I think once you've identified the problem you're on the road to a solution! There are many ways to deal with stress that are more effective and have better consequences than overeating. Check out some SparkPeople articles and/or internet resources and experiment with them instead of food 'til you find something that works for you.
