Every Morning I

Every morning I look at my body in the mirror;.

Every morning see rolls of blubber around my middle and bulges on my thighs. Every morning they seem to get bigger.

Ever morning I tell myself "It is time to take care of my body and weight. I MUST start watch what I am eating starting today" This lasts as long as it takes me to get of the bathroom.

Every morning, I've used the excuse, "I have other problems to concentrate on"

Every morning I tell myself, "no more excuses"

Every morning I tell myself, "I will go for a long bike ride today and burn a gazillion calories." Quite often I do this and can burn up to 1000 calories. But then I always seem to eat twice the amount calories I burned.

Every morning I go to SparkPeople and look for support and help. Every morning it is there, but I don't use it.

I wonder if I could make today different:
Quit making excuses
Plan what to eat
Follow my plan
Track what I eat on my plan
Don't count on bike riding to burn those calories. use them as a bonus.
Track my physical activities.

I hope this blog isn't just another list that I will make an excuse for!

    emoticon You've taken the first step actually several more steps.. Now you need not to get overwhelmed. Focus into those steps that will accomplish your goal, track that food and track the exercise you do. Just reading the posts of sparkpeople will help keep you motivated. emoticon Because your not alone. emoticon I think I can go for my walk now thank you I needed some motivation.

    If you just use the nutrition tracker and exercise tracker a couple of times, it will give you a true picture of where you're at. I know when I started tracking 14 months ago, I was agast, at what I was stuffing in my face and sometimes forcing down my throat. I knew from seeing it in black and white, it became the reality I needed to force me to get myself into this lifestyle change, that God had ordained for me. It really does get easier the longer you're working the plan, and as long as your working the plan, you lose weight and get some muscle.

I believe in you, and I want to tell you that emoticon Once you start on this journey, it becomes a habit, and you don't even have to think about doing it, as it just comes naturally. I'm rooting for you, emoticon Now go and kick some excess calorie butt!!!

    You are one step ahead of people that can't even face themselves in the mirror, so consider yourself ahead of the game and when you talk to that person in the mirror, may sure she listens to you. emoticon
