Day 170 - Just Not Feeling It

This morning I attempted to jog miles but it just was not happening. I started jogging and about an 1/8 mile I would give up and walk. I attempted several times but I think I feel just worn out.

I hope I am not getting that dreaded summer's end cold where the weather changes and sickness settles in.

It was pretty brisk outside and my chest was starting to get too cold. I really have to pay attention to my chest from the cold since I am very susceptible to bronchitis. Years ago, I had a tumor removed from behind my chest bone and the surgeon had to saw through my chest to get it out.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get past this funk I am in...but I am glad that I did get 5 miles in with mostly walking! Yay!

Now off to my shower and cuddle under some blankets and rest.

    I think this is somewhat normal. I think it is best to listen to our bodies and follow what they are telling us. Good for you for taking it slow when your body said "not today".

    Good for you for continuing, and not giving up altogether. I don't know that you would have given up, but in my past experience, I have "not feelin' it days", and I just totally threw in the towel on exercise that day. I am sorry to hear about your prior and present problems with your chest. Yikes, bronchitis is no fun at all. Good luck on your WLJ!! Take care and stay well.

    Walking is great exercise too! Hopefully you are not getting sick. I just got over a cold. No fun!
