What a weekend. No diving was involved for me but I did get a good bike ride in. I went to my son’s cross country meet and watched him run his best race of the year so far. They run 5K races and he ran a 20:35 which is his best this year. Yay! He has been battling shin splints all year and so it was good to see him have a good race.
Then I rode my bike back from the park to the campsite. A nice 13 mile ride which felt good. Especially nice was my rear end not feeling to many ill effects from the bike seat. So, tonight it is spinning class for me! I look forward to this. I have been lazy about going to one of these. I love riding bikes. So it seems like a no brainer. But I am hoping this ups my game so to speak. Although I do make myself work hard on my own, I hope this takes it to another level. So, I am finally going to take the plunge and spin.
The good news is, I didn’t really do too much damage to the weight on the camping trip. So, I am back to work today and will be focused again and start undoing the damage of the last month or so. Get this back under control and get moving in the right direction. I will be a little bad tonight when I meet some friends to watch my Bengal’s on Monday Night Football, but will control that by leaving early.
