I'm back!

Monday, September 16, 2013

I decided that my weight issues aren't going to help themselves. I'm back as of last week. I'm going to get a handle on my eating.

Over the last 9 months I've gained 50 lbs and it's not pretty. It all started back around Christmas last year. It was the first year that my son wasn't with me and it was pretty stressful. Instead of reaching out for help and support I fell back into eating too much (or just eating the wrong things) and not exercising. Eventually it became habit.

Anyway.... I'm done with my pity party and I'm back in the swing of things. I've found that it really helps not to have lots of extra food around the house that is ready-to-eat. In the last week I've really cut down on having microwave food around the house as well. I can't completely cut it out because it's all my 125 lb boyfriend ever eats.

I'm out of time. I need to finish getting the kids ready for school and get to working on my homework. Oh yeah, I started college again over the summer! But that will have to be another post. Gotta run!
