Son#2 the Air Canada Pilot!

Monday, September 16, 2013

Son#2, the Air Canada Pilot, was out to Vancouver , over the weekend-flew the Airbus- He stayed near the Westin, on the harbour there--close to Stanley Park-

When you are there, you are right on the ocean--and the mountains---

There is a jogging route around Stanley Park--- He ran 11 km on it-----(good to know that Pilots "run"-)--LOL
Here is the whole route-One year, we biked it!-People in Vancouver are very fit-Never go there without yer runners---
After a shower, he went to "Hans House of Noodles" for Dim Sum-

It is the noisiest, but best Chinese food!---Note-the Chinese people eating there-(Good sign for good food!)
It looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!!!------
Last night he brought the big Airbus back to Toronto--

On the home front here, both Germans (as in dogs)-are doing well with my nursing care-Yesterday the Grandkids were out-
And to-day, the wash is in--(the ol' machine still works!)""-Amazing Race Canada"" is on to-night-- last show----and this day has begun!!! emoticon

I already knew pilots run... used to live about a block away from a pilot who had a golden retriever, and I would go run my Diamond girl (German Shorthaired Pointer) at the same park... he and I would be jogging laps while our dogs made like a "high-pro glow" dogfood commercial... they were pups together.

Later, after we moved, my Diamond would go up to each Golden Retriever we would encounter... I was sure she was looking for her friend Suzu! Dogs have friends, too.

Spark on!

Visited Vancouver twice many years ago and was fortunate to have a native show us around the second time which covered spots not included in the earlier tour group visit. I still have my pewter Canadian goose pin purchased as my souvenir. Nice memories jogged by photos of your son's visit.

Glad all is well on Monday morning! DS2 is SO blessed to see so many wonderful sights and to be so fit that he runs them!

I am especially grateful that the Germans are doing well...hugs all around on that!

And assume "no news is good news" on the washing machine???

Have a great week, Lynda! emoticon

My DH and I flew into Vancouver on our way to Hawaii a couple of years ago and we sat next to a woman from Vancouver...she should have been a spokesperson for Vancouver. Anyway, it is one of the places I would love to explore!!! Your Gkids are so cute!
