Rain, rain, rain

Monday, September 16, 2013

It's been raining in Colorado since Tuesday. We've had more rain in this past week than we do in a normal year. Communities are torn apart, people have died, many are just missing (and we hope just out of contact.) It's still raining but tonight could be the end. This front has just stalled on top of us but it is projected to move on. My family and most friends are just wet, not dealing with destruction, thank God. For an area that has battled drought for the past few years it's just hard to believe. I hear that the flood waters are surging into other areas now.

Kind of makes you think there may be something to the rumors about global warming impacting the climate. This kind of storm in unheard of here. emoticon

It was on the news here this morning. The Sherriff was all choked up over the overwhelming support people have given to strangers rescuing them. emoticon

And update for you! Rain is still predicted until mid-week. Hopefully, it won't be more of the torrential rains we've seen. Come on SUN!
