My last post was more than one month ago!!! I have some catching upto do - and I will, but not today!
Today I am 41! and I am thankful for:
- My family... I had the BEST smiles from my DH (and I was happy to get up by his side, I feel so fortunate to have him in my live), my daughter Maggie (15) joined me in the kitchen signing "Good Morning" to me!!! and my daughter Emma (17) was proud to be the first to call me (she is in Quebec, studying for nursing)...
- My sister posted this picture of us, taken last week on her BD, we celebrate together!
- Starting my day with some cardio - today was a nice bike ride with my hubby.
- I am in a better shape than I was 10 years ago!!!
Here is the highlight of my 40...
Sept 2012: I ran my best HM time (1:38) and our Team won - yeah 1st Place - the Army Run for the Mixed Military Team Category
Nov 2012: We had a nice family trip to Cayo Coco ...
Dec 2012: My sister and her family came for X-Mas!!! (no picture... I lost them all, I had save it on my laptop, My hard drive gave up on me!
Jan 2013: We (Emma, Maggie, DH and I) started the year with a Fun 5k Resolution Run
Feb 2013: I qualified for the Canadian Championship - I ran a 10k at -20C (-4F) and set a new record for that race for Master Female : I did 46:51...
March 2013: Busy Month.... In April, went to Texas to relax!
May 2013: I did my PB 10K: 45.21 (official time) and won the Canadian Forces National Championship 10K Master Female! Wohoo!!!
June :I participate in the Relay for Life with Maggie...
My Emma finished HS!
July and Aug - Jeff and I hike the West coast trail! - No pic... I will post pictures with my recap next blogs...
For my BD - I ran a 10K for Terry Fox - and donate 50$ to the Foundation... I did it in 45.30 (15 sec faster than last year) This was a great Rehersal Race for the the Army half marathon next week. I am not in it to do my PB, just enough to qualify for the CF Championship again!
