Summer has come and gone away and while it was a great one for us, I am happy to see the cooler weather and the trees starting to lose their leaves. I love cool afternoons as that is when I get out and bike or run or hike and I don't sweat like a crazy woman as much!
I also have some kick butt Keen boots that have been laying in wait by the door just waiting for the weather to change so that my feet can be comforted with each step once again...dang flip flops and hot weather took a toll on my sore foot!
My eating plan has changed a wee bit as both my hubby and I tried the wheat belly way for a month...up until we left for summer holidays and then things changed back to trying to eat using common sense.
Now that we are back to work and school our menu plans have turned back to healthy diabetic plans, which seem to be doing the trick. I have more energy and my blood glucose levels are evening out nicely.
