Measurements Between Ramadhan and Now :D

I made two milestones to compare my weight and inches measurements:
- 1st, before and after Ramadhan, a fasting month in Islam Calendar
- 2nd, a month of courses (2 weeks for Course #1, a week back to work then 1 week for Course #2).

For the first, measurements comparison between the 5th July 2013 and 7th August 2013:
Measurements: ## 5th July ## ***** ## 7th August ##
Weight: ## 59 kg ## ***** ## 58 kg ## = decreased 1 kg
Upper Arm: ## 10" ## ***** ## 9.75" ## = decreased 0.25"
Chest/Breasts: ## 34.5" ## ***** ## 35.5" ## = increased 1"
Waist: ## 30 ## ***** ## 29.5" ## = decreased 0.5"
Hips: ## 36.75" ## ***** ## 37" ## = increased 0.25"
Thigh: ## 22.5 ## ***** ## 22.5 ## = no change

RESULT #1 = overall decreased :D I know I said a month of fasting but the truth is I didn't fast the whole month due to my period - about half of month of not fasting! (women who have their TOM can't fast but have to payback after this year Ramadhan but before next Ramadhan). But what I like about Ramadhan is I could concentrate more on my spiritual and to refresh back what I've forgotten :D

For the second, measurements comparison between 18 August and 16th September 2013:
Measurements: ## 18 August ## ***** ## 16th September ##
Weight: ## 57 kg ## ***** ## 59.5 kg ## = increased 2.5 kg
Upper Arm: ## 9.75" ## ***** ## 10.25" ## = increased 0.5"
Chest/Breasts: ## 35.5" ## ***** ## 35" ## = decreased 0.5"
Waist: ## 31.25" ## ***** ## 30.5" ## = decreased 0.75"
Hips: ## 37.25" ## ***** ## 37.75" ## = increased 0.5"
Thigh: ## 22.75 ## ***** ## 22.75 ## = no change

RESULT #2 = overall increased but I like it that my waist measurement decreased :D I think overall increased as there were free food during my courses (total three weeks of classes and free food, hehe) and I usually hard to resist free food, especially desserts and meat. I still had some restraint as I tried to not get second serving and tried not to heap my plate with hills of food :D

Overall Result from 5th July to 16th September 2013:
Measurements: ## 5th July ## ***** ## 16th September ##
Weight: ## 59 kg ## ***** ## 59.5 kg ## = increased 0.5 kg
Upper Arm: ## 10" ## ***** ## 10.25" ## = increased 0.25"
Chest/Breasts: ## 34.5" ## ***** ## 35" ## = increased 0.5"
Waist: ## 30" ## ***** ## 30.5" ## = increased 0.5"
Hips: ## 36.75" ## ***** ## 37.75" ## = increased 1"
Thigh: ## 22.5 ## ***** ## 22.75 ## = increased 0.25"

RESULT #3 = *fainted coz everything has increased LOL I think it's not too bad as the increments are slightly not greatly but it's an early warning :D

So, next stop is Wake Up Sleeping Beast! I need to get out from my current condition of feeling so tired, so sleepy, so easily get sick, so lifeless! I think all those are affecting my measurements and negative effects to my life, too.

Result from #1 is very good! Result from #2 I am with you on your waist measurement decrease! You are right about your overall results as it is not too bad as it is small increments but rather an early warning sign. Jangan lah pengsan! LOL You have to do what you need to do as planned in your last paragraph.

    I focused most on your last paragraph and wish you luck with that. Don't faint over the numbers, just keep doing those things you know to be right for your health!

I was in southern India this summer during Ramadhan and discovered that there it is called Ramzan.
