Joined a new gym, with a 6 a.m. appointment tomorrow with the trainer. Sign of commitment.
I am ready to try again. I have to get that way. I am upbeat. I like the fact that I haven't given up.
Got stocked up on some good food at the store. I wanted some kefir to add to my juices, and other things for juicing. I really only needed some Granny Smith apples. Right now I can get everything else I need for juicing and healthy meals from our gardens -- kale, collards, broccoli, green beans, tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, zucchini and squash, apples.
I also got a few things I don't have on hand to slice in the food processor to have more greens every day. Sometimes for breakfast, sometimes with supper. Love them!
I'm also happy that I don't have so far to go this time. I have kept off 30 pounds, so that's already a head start. And I'm still fairly fit. Just have to get more focused on the workout program.
Calorie goal is 1500 per day. Run/walk 3 days per week, PT at least twice. I plan to weigh weekly. This is a change, but I don't want to get caught up in numbers. I want to work toward lifestyle.
And of course, I do know I can do it. I just have to do it.
