I'm baaaaccccckkk!

Just decided to try a different brand of computer charger to see if it might work on my computer, and it did!!!! Wow, so very happy. I was thinking I'd lost all of my photos and resume and computer........with no money saved to buy another. So, I am very happy right now. Blogging from my cell phone was quite hard, and rather ineffective. I added the sp food tracker and sp recipe apps onto my phone, so nice. I like that the new tracker also tracks strength mins, which is really handy. Had a few down days this week, but am feeling a bit better today. I've been socializing so much lately, which has been really fun, but at times that extra glass of wine really puts me over my calorie count. I did go out to an amazing art studio in midtown Sac last night with my neighbor. It was really wonderful. There was some really moving pieces in there. I was quite spellbound. One artist stood with us for over a half an hour describing the meaning behind his collage pieces. They were so unique and beautiful, and the stories were captivating and detailed, I was mesmerized. They have an art walk every 2nd Saturday of the month in Sac, and this is the first time I've ever been. It was really great.

Going to try and walk a little longer today. Still walking in my living room, which seems to be quite good for me. I can not find any excuses not to (ie weather, dark out, temperatures, etc.) so all in all it is a good fit for now. Also, it's free!!!!! I am planning on getting leg and arm weights and possibly a mini trampoline if I can find one for the right price.

So, sparking along. No great weight loss success to speak of, but daily mini successes are keeping me plugging along. I hope all is well with all of you.

Oooh! I've been getting a bit of culture in too lately. I love collage work. I collaged an entire dresser/chest of drawers back in the 90's and I still have it. It was a crappy piece of flimsy furniture that I turned into an art piece.
Now I can not part with it!!
Glad to hear that you are having daily mini successes. The snowball effect is wonderful!

Check for the mini trampoline. They have one on there I want. It's a little expensive, but looks like it's built to last.
