Austin 10K

Sunday, September 15, 2013

We walked in the Violet Crown section of Austin (West). Nice area with homes from the early 1950's. The Violet Crown Shopping Center was the first one built in Austin.

Liked this street (Arroyo Seco)the best. It was a divided street with lots of shade trees.

The Labyrinth wasn't on the walk route but I detoured to do it anyway. It is at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Pictured is a walker from San Marcos with her poodle.

There is a really nice wall created with mosaic tile.

Thank you for the tour. You have become my eyes to the world of places I will never venture and they are all great.
I love the mosaic wall.
