I'm pretty impressed with myself right now. I weighed in on Friday and had lost almost 5 pounds since my last weigh in. I haven't really been consciously trying to eat better...I've been eating way too much sugar! I have, however, been working out more! I've been to two one-hour Zumba workouts at my church, and I've been walking the dogs everyday, trying to do a little jogging as well. I can feel that the endorphins are starting to kick in, and I'm on my way to being addicted to working out!

I'm actually excited to go to my first cardio kickboxing class tomorrow night! I hope I can make it. I figure I'll just take it easy when I need to. I want to be strong, fit and active. I have more energy, and maybe I can finally have a clean house- although, this is usually an impossible task with animals around. Best laid plans...

The reason I'm so impressed with myself is that I just did a 15 minute Turbo Jam workout on a SUNDAY! In the afternoon! Usually I have to workout in the morning or I'm done for the day. So yes, very impressed. I need to start hula hooping again while catching up on my tv shows.

Here's to a new life! It's gonna stick this time!

I love your willpower and determination. You've got this! Exercise is a huge help for boosting metabolism and burning calories, so even though your eating habits aren't where you want them, it sounds like the exercise is really keeping you in check.
