The challenges are of school assignments increasing with observations and interviews for essays and presentations, food allergies that cause changes in eating meal plans, children with new found health issues with some possibly life threatening and some with being a temporary adjustment, with added lack of sleep. It is crazy sometimes when feeling pulled in so many directions like a candle burning with too many wicks.
Got on the scale this morning and I have lost a total of 18 lbs and 4 inches on my waist. No matter how the challenges have been I have made it a consistent habit to record my meals to stay within the calories and nutrients needed. That is the key and the beginning of a habit that now has become second nature.
Things are starting to calm down and becoming more stable to some form of normality. I am looking forward to a new week with getting back on daily workouts again. My goal starting Monday is to just make myself HIT PLAY with a workout video and think of it as my new found renew time.
The saying goes, "It takes 21 days to make a habit". My goal is to make it a daily habit to workout with exercise videos and make it become second nature.
