My entry visualization task for Spark Coach was to spend some time visualizing how I want to look and feel 6 months from now. Six months from now, we will be kissing spring. The holidays, will have come and gone, and I will have been victorious through them. HOW? by staying connected to Spark. I will use my teams ( back on track, fitbit and the numbers) to stay the course of eating in calorie range, walking more. I will plan for holiday meals, using Spark recipes to bring health dishes to the potlucks. And I will set the January 2014 goals. The same four little goals which lead to another 10% loss. Another year of 5k, 10k, 12k walks. I will be breaking in new shoes. By spring, I will have completed the Ephrata Canal 10 K, and be actively training for Bloomsday 12 K. My house will be more organized, with a workable scrapbook, office space. I will be breaking open the tub of spring/summer clothes, and purging the ones that are too big, which should be most of them. While the next 6 months are going to be hard, it's the eating season, the hibernation season, I know that I have a plan. daily, I will gym, get my steps in, stay in calorie range, work on organizational projects. Weekly, I will stay connected to Spark teams. Monthly, I will records my steps, minutes, monthly summaries. I will aim for 2,000 fitness minutes. I will have some obstacles; the holidays, the monthly period, seasonal affect issues but I think I can plan around them.
What small steps can I make today to make that vision of the future self a reality? today, I'm going to work on my monthly summary project, catch up on the healthy scrapbook, do the weekly laundry so I have clean work out clothes, do some big batch cooking for next week and take care of myself. I'll refill my med box, do some sparking, take a hot bath. Small steps to a bigger picture of health.
