So these days I am busier than normal. Working full time, school full time, and house wife on top of that....needless to say I don't get a lot of me time or time to make healthy hot cooked meals. I had been doing low carb for about 5 months and sticking to it which was nice I liked the variety of foods I was allowed, the problem was is it is difficult to stick to that on a budget and have fast cooked foods.

With the issues for me to stick to low carb I decided to switch back to doing weight watchers points plus. I have done WW points plus in the past with a small amount of success I was just always hungry so I never stuck to it, I am confident that this time I will do better. Doing a low carb lifestyle helped me learn how to choose healthier items, items that are higher in fiber and less white sugary type foods. Now I can stay full and stay in my points range with no problems at all.

I have been back to counting my points for two weeks now and I lost both weeks! The first week I lost 3 lbs and the 2nd week I lost 1 lb. :-) emoticon

    Congratulations on your weight loss! If you like low carb, you may want to try Chris Powell's Carb Cycling program. It is low carb one day and a higher carb the next day. The idea behind it is that it tricks your metabolism to burn fat faster. I personally just track calories, but I did read his book, Choose to Lose, and I thought it was an interesting idea, especially for people who enjoy low carb. If you alternate days, it may be less expensive. Anyway, good luck with your weight loss! emoticon
