I have managed to find my success route. Finally! It really is simple. Eat less, move more. I track everything I put in my mouth keeping it at my calories for the day and work out 5-6 times a week. Even my day off from exercising usually includes movement like walking the dog. From my peak, I have lost 20 pounds. From when i started tracking here, it's been about 13. But the important thing is I am not going backwards! But forward momentum is where I am headed. My goal is to lost 18 more pounds total. I am about halfway there and can see that this time I shall make goal. I am feeling so much better too. Sleeping well, eating well. Feeling well.
