so i am 25...i am going to go out and drink. and i don't think that that's a bad thing. HOWEVER, i am starting to realize that i need to gauge my nights out better.
for example. i didn't go out all last week, so i was thinking of last night as my "cheat"/go out night. before i left, i had intentions of drinking wine and eating super clean. then i go out, i get in the "im out, who cares" mindset, and ended up consuming 899 cals of food/drink at dinner (luckily, i had allowed for this, and ended the day completely within my ranges). however, i ended up being home by 10 haha. this was not the sort of night that i had to go for chips + margaritas + red bull. i definitely could have stuck to wine and healthy food. i ended up gaining three pounds last night (hopefully water weight! as i didnt go over on cals or sodium) which was so not worth it for a 10 pm night!!!
so my new plan is...start out slow. always. on a night out, instead of being ahhhhh im gonna ragggeee from the get-go haha, i will always stick with the healthy food, and allllways start with "healthier" alcohol. booo looks like im not gonna hit my 149 goal tomorrow :( but still binge-free :)
sidenote: the sparkpeople nutrition suggestions told me to eat 500-900 cals MORE than i ate last night. is yall crazzyyyy?!?!
