Time To Take My Own Advice

"Do what you can when you can"

"Don't be so hard on yourself"
These are just some of the things I tell my clients. Well, the universe has once again given me a learning curve with my body. I finally felt normal, and then started doing resistance training, not even really heavy weights like I love...and wham! After 1 week, I was in bed for 4 days.
The good news is I went and saw my Physio and she looked at me and said...whoa! This is not you and this is not right! Basically we think my fibro and chronic fatigue are messing me up. She is referring me o a muscular skeletal specialist and an endocrinologist finally....I have been thinking I need to see one! Finally having someone see me at my worst instead of the positive over achiever paid off! Lol plus she gave me an amazing compliment...she said I was meant to do what I do, so the only weights and muscle exercises I can do until further notice is with clients ...I have to show them prior to them doing it...and I'm only to walk. Period.
Another good thing about this is the scale will go down faster because I won't be in pain, I won't be sore from lactic acid, I won't be tired...you see just walking and doing a little muscle work 2 days makes my body hit a wall...then I just spiral downwards.
I have made peace with putting my major goal to get get big muscly and cross fit ready aside for now...I took down my vision board of all my big thighs and biceps, and just put up some happy, light, and leaner pics instead.
I also thought about how I seem happier and more positive when I log into sparkpeople daily. So now, my gym time will most likely be spark time! :) I'm almost done with my studies and then look out! I have plans to help a lot of people change their lives...and once again...I have another personal obstacle to help me relate to others! ;)
