Fall is almost here..what is my plan

Where has the summer gone? And I was going to be 30 lbs lighter..I am not. Actually I have yo yoed and I am where I began..almost the same weight. I whine alot about this reality..but have no one to point a finger at , but ME!!
Now to get down to the nitty gritty..NOW IS MY TIME!! I have struggled up and down all last winter, spring, summer and NOW IS MY TIME TO GET MY HEAD OUT OF THE SAND..and get serious about my life.
How am I going to do this challenge..Starting with exercise. I am going to up that..with more bike riding and walking.
Next is the big one..eating right. I have to stick to a eating plan that will be best for me and be do able. I know all the tricks..but implementing them is the key..What has worked in the past..and what is not working in the present.
I am working on a program for the next 30 days of transitioning. Wish me blessings..I need them..Hope you are all doing well and keeping on task..

    Bike riding and walking sound like great ways to get moving. I have other options to share with you also that have worked for me. I've noticed that you enjoy Leslie Sansones walk aerobics, maybe you could do one of those workouts if you have it available. Do something different every day to keep your workouts interesting. Eat different varieties of healthy food also. Those things have worked for me and it's easier to make something a part of your lifestyle if you enjoy doing them. I was told to stop looking at the scale for my results. Maybe if it's important to you, you can check the scales and your measurements once a month, but the bigger results are in how you feel. If you can feel healthier, stronger and enjoy things more in life, those results are worth more than any number on a scale could tell you. I know this isn't easy, but you CAN DO IT! I'm here for you and you're a beautiful woman...Best of success...

    I do wish you luck we can all relate to what you are saying, I do agree with Gina.
    make smaller targets to aim for, falling by the way on along journeys is discouraging . It seems such a long way to go. Planning meals is most important . Make that one step. And so on. Ree emoticon

    When I read your blog it screamed out at me...BREAK YOUR GOALS INTO SMALLER INCREMENTS AND TRY TO DO STREAKS. For instance make it 5 lbs at a time and weigh and measure for a streak of however long you can do it. Same with exercise.....make it in increments of 10 minutes and try for a streak. Chart your streaks. this is the only way I get any where. When I look at a big number or goal it scares me and I want to eat to comfort myself. It also causes me to say manana.....

    I know just what you are saying. I need to step it up and really do something about working harder on losing weight. I just bought a walking tape and looking forward to stepping up my exercise. Besides meal plans , weighing & measuring is my biggest problem.
    Sounds like you have a the right attitude and you will do well.
