It's been a busy 24 hours! Last night hubby and I went into Fenway Park to see the Red Sox game against the Yankees. It was a good game and the Red Sox won. Win 90 in the season.
Today was to be a leisurely but productive day. I can say that it was productive but not so leisurely. We headed out around noon to do some errands then returned home for lunch. I started trying to put together meals for the week (as we talked again about dining in more than going out). I started to realize that the cupboards were bare and a trip to the grocery store was needed.
First we stopped at the local farm stand and picked up a few things.
Green beans, summer squash, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Yum!
Then we went to the grocery store. After the grocery store, I started cooking.
First I made Vegetarian Moussaka
Main ingredients: eggplant and soy crumbles
This will be for lunches this week.
Then I made a peach pie (peaches from our trees)
Then I made Creamy Shrimp Pasta. I forgot to take a photo of this one.
We had this for dinner. Yummy!
Hubby peeled the shrimp for this recipe, which is my least favorite thing about making this recipe.
Also got in some exercise. We went for a walk to the schools near by and back. After dinner I went on the Wii while hubby cleaned up.
