A quote from my book - I am translating from swedish which is silly because the book is written in english from the start but anyway:

"The best protection against cancer is a the change of attitude that occurs through the progress that is highly valued in al the big psychological and spiritual traditions. Aristoteles describes the essence of life by talking about "enteleki" (the need of progress that starts with a seed and comes to life in the full grown tree) Jung describes a "Process of individualisation" that a person transforms to a human that differs from all others with an unique potential for growth.
The spiritual traditions calls for awakenings through breeding the unique that is the holy self. It is very important that we define our deepest values and make them come to life in our behaviour and relations. From that attitude comes gratitude for life as it is and in that light our bodies with biological functions can thrive."(Anticancer)

To me, it is not only cancer prevention, it is the essence of being ....

Maybe I should have mentioned that I am a breastcancer survivor.

Yes, one's mindset can make a huge difference in physical and spiritual health. That's the concept behind Type C (cancer) personalities.

That is one thing I talk about when talking to cancer patients and families (I am a Prostate Cancer Awareness manager). Attitude is 90% of the treatment.
