So Far a Good Week!

Well, This is my first week back to the Spark in about 3-4 years. I lost some weight with barely trying, got a couple pounds back- or I just jumped the gun and weighed myself a might too early, late in the day (Thursday evening rather than waiting til Sunday Morning.)

I was excited! I was a bit dimmed by the weigh-in, but I was able to pick myself back up. What I know is that I am handling things better, this time, and that I'm looking at what I'm doing with much more compassion and understanding.

And I'm much more committed, thus far. I think that I could get bored, sure, but I intend to stick with it out of a commitment to myself. I want to live healthier, be more vital and radiant and have a sense of control of and purpose to my life.

The best way to reclaim your life is to take responsibility for what you do with your body and mind. That is why I am doing this. This site was started to help people clarify their reasons for getting in better health and fitness, well I'm doing that more every day!

I'm having a great first week back and I look forward to what I can do, next. I'm looking forward to learning how to improve my life and my health and to look better and better all the time. I'm looking forward to learning how to manage inevitable swings in interest and taste and energy. I'm looking forward to working the program as best I can!

    I just came back, too. I agree with all you say.
I weigh myself every few days and sometimes it is up and sometimes it is down, but the trend is down. For a total of 14 pounds in five weeks.
Good luck to you, but I know it is not luck but your good attitude that will get you to your goals.
