I've been weighing in on only Monday's & Fridays. I got on the scale this morning and it said
It felt good to see the numbers back up what I am feeling. The funny thing is that I have not KILLED myself or worked very hard at all. I've been full and my eating plan is very satisfying. I have simply decided to eat only real foods and allow one treat of bread and one sweet per week. This plan seems to be working for me right now. So I will continue!
My daughter took a picture of me this morning as I was getting ready for work. It's blurry, but here ya go.
And one from the back (which I almost didn't post because my room was not clean and my curtains are not what I actually want on the window right now - that is bugging me - lol - but all OCD aside, here is that photo.

I tried something new for dinner last night - spaghetti squash! My family was having sloppy joes, so here is how I modified it to fit my eating plan. I made the spaghetti squash in the oven and after it cooled, I stripped it with a fork into the noodle shapes. Then, I sprayed a pie dish and spread the noodles in the bottom like a pie crust. I covered that with a layer of the sloppy joe meat, then topped with pepperjack cheese and baked.
It was mighty delicious if I do say so myself. I'm glad I'm trying new things AND allowing my family to eat what they are used to. I'm proud to say that 3 of the family members tried the "new" invention and they ate a whole helping and liked it.
