Day #13 of 27 - Oh my not again

Woke up about 5am with a slight stuffy nostril and a tinge of a headache. Again is this a sinus headache or what? So I forge to work and thinking it will get better or go away. So far it's still hanging around...But I shall move forward.
Gym yesterday: YES, YES and YES!!! 45 minutes on treadmill with inclines and higher speed - sweat was poring like crazy !!!!
Okay I'm walking and this much older man is walking next to me... 9 incline and 3.6 speed going strong not holding on or anything! I'm like really, really ...and next to him was another older man about the same age, inclining and jogging....
Now I could have gotten negative thoughts but you know what I said? I was like when I get to their age I want to be that strong in my body that I can still function like that. Today I am working towards where they are now.
I was talking to a co-worker yesterday also. He's up in his late 50's early 60s and he was telling me he's training for a triathalon. I was so inspired by him because he has battled cancer for 4 years, just had knee surgery last year and he's running 5 miles every few days and lifting weights regularly. He told me he was squatting 350#s before his knee surgery, now he's at 150 working his way up. I'm like oh my.... Just goes to show us that age doesn't matter when we decide to make an effort and push just a little past our aches, laziness and pains we may get over the hump!!!
Eating - great stayed within my calories but I need to get better organized in this area. Better meal planning
Water - great drank all of it before leaving work
Strength Training - what I posted yesterday about my 8# lifts in the morning, also did them when I got home from the gym and used the 5# weights for a few exercises too.
Today I plan to go to the gym but they had a sign that it would be closed until 4pm today for electrical repairs. I'll go and hopefully it's open. Hopefully I'm feeling better by then too. Will also focus on strength training for my lower body, squats throughout the day when I go potty.
That's it, just in case I'm not around this weekend, have a fantastic, healthy weekend. Let us not fall down on our journey just because it's the weekend. Lift me up in prayer and I'll be doing the same for you.
