Getting Un-Stuck

Friday, September 13, 2013

I was out of town for a week visiting my daughter and to say "I fell off the wagon" would be an understatement. The thing is, though, I really wasn't worried about whether or not I had it in me to get back on the wagon once I returned home. If anything, it renewed by motivation to continue this journey through to the end.
I am taking the next week to get back to the basics of the SP program. I'm going to go back and re-read the articles on goal-setting and review how far I have come in the past 3 months and in what areas I need to ramp it up a bit. Complacency is dangerous for me and that is why I need to continuously re-visit my goals and my action plan so that I continue to progress. I am the kind of person who loses weight, get's used to an eating plan and workout routine and soon finds herself "stuck" in the middle with no forward progress. I am not going to stay stuck this time.

I do the whole kit and caboodle to keep me focused. I am a slow learner, LOL. Actually I know know all the information, just have not been as diligent about adhering to it. I'm studying for a comprehensive exam, so I am prone to mass histeria. My brain is not wired to do all the controlling when I get short fused. Hope you get back into the program! Your blog has enlightened me to take care of UNO and the rest will work better. emoticon emoticon
